FFKM Perfluoroelastomer
Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM/FFPM) parts are resistant to more than 1800 different chemicals, including concentrated nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, ethylenediamine and steam, while providing the high temperature stability of PTFE (327°C).
About FFKM
FFKM seals also help to prevent fouling of semiconductor processes by reducing particles, removing extractables, and resisting degradation in raw plasma. Perfluoroelastomers offer low outgassing in vacuum sealing applications. FDA-compliant seals are available for food, beverage, or pharmaceutical processes.
FFKM Applications
FFKM seals are used in highly aggressive chemical processes, semiconductor wafer manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, oil and gasextraction, and aerospace applications.
