Introduction

Liquid cooling quick connectors and Universal Quick Disconnect (UQD) couplings provide serviceable fluid connections in data center cooling loops. Their internal O-rings must maintain reliable sealing during pressure changes, temperature cycling and repeated connection and disconnection while remaining compatible with water- and glycol-based coolants.

Hao Seal supplies custom EPDM and FKM O-rings for UQD and other liquid cooling quick connector designs. Material, hardness and dimensions are selected according to the coolant, operating temperature, pressure, groove structure and required connection cycles to help reduce leakage, swelling, compression set and premature seal failure.
